Pocket’s Birthday Wish

It’s almost Pocket’s birthday and she has a special birthday wish this year!

As most of you know i am a huge fan of Corgis in general and most specifically of my rockin’ fur-baby, Pocket. As many of you know, i’m also a big fan of Corgi Pals and donate a portion of every corgi-specific Fiber Friends purchase to this wonderful non-profit that supports “corgis in need.” Even skin-parents that are the best prepared to raise our furry children can hit unexpected hurdles. Corgi Pals raises money for needy Corgis who often have large vet bills from illness, injury or other unexpected and expensive problems. This year Pocket would love nothing more than a small donation of $3.00 to her favorite non-profit in honor of her third birthday. You may choose to donate to a specific dog, like Millie who has over $5,000 left to raise or Willow whose sweet face kills me every time and who passed away recently OR you can donate to the general fund via paypal or by check.

So, if you can afford it please consider giving $3.00 to CorgiPals in honor of Pocket’s turning 3 years old. No worries if you can’t – Pocket is happy to cover you in face kisses anyway because she loves everyone (even nasty roofers who bang on her house all day long). We’re hoping to raise $300 by April 9th 2013, but will be happy with any small contribution or future contributions if you’re reading this post from the future.
